Ok, then by definition I guess I’m a consultant.
BUT Why would you want to hire me as a consultant?
You’re probably either a little crazy or desperately in need of a little crazy if you are thinking about hiring me as a consultant. I was told by a long-time Chick-Fil-A senior executive and friend that, “I was WAY too innovative to work there, and that I’m like a Tazmanian Devil of ideas and action waiting to be unleashed from my cage.” I was a little flattered and offended at the same time. I don’t know about all that, but I do have a pretty extensive reputation for being a straight shooter, thinking outside the box (sometimes WAY outside the box), being able to empathize with your challenges, desires, and those you are working to reach, serve, and retain.
I’ve worked client side and agency side, in the worlds of strategy, creative, and in tactical trenches. I can dream in the clouds, and analyze data, and sometimes both at the same time (though it makes my brain hurt a bit). I get the greatest joy and satisfaction in helping identify hidden thorns that are causing pain, or uncovering hidden opportunities and low-hanging fruit for some quick wins and long-term improvement.
If I don’t think or believe I can help you, I’ll tell you very quickly and often, and try to point you to one of my friends who can help you knock it out of the park (obligatory sports metaphor). You may think it’s a reverse psychology Jedi mind trick. I’ll probably just sheepishly smile and say “you never know!”

Starting Point: A Heart Discovery Session
I’ll be happy to listen to your problems, challenges, hopes, and dreams. I’ll ask you some incredibly insightful (or completely obvious) questions no one has probably ever asked you.
You’ll probably get a little frustrated, but that’s just me probing, taking you out of your comfort zone, and challenging the status quo, with your best interests at heart.
